Insomniac founder and CEO Pasqualle Rotella made his presence known in Florida this year. He made three impressive moves in under 9 months:
- Purchased a majority share of Club Space
- Purchased a stake in Okeechobe Music & Arts Festival
- Expanded EDC Orlando to three days for the first time ever!
However, his vision for Florida is not done yet.. on Thursday, August 15th he said that his festival powerhouse would be announcing something important for fans in that region. During the "Music Through Mix" series he said:
"I'm not supposed to say anything, but I'm so excited. I have to say that we have some big Florida news coming this summer to you, and I believe you're gonna be super excited about it," began Rotella. He then pantomimed coughing, apparently blurting out, "We're throwing another festival."
We're extremely excited for this new festival since we are located in Miami. They could host the event in the Homestead Speedway and compete with Ultra Music Festival for their flagship festival. The location is a bit far but it's large enough for camping and overnight partying. Either way we can't wait to see what Pasqualle Rotella brings to life!
